About the role
Isetann Department Store is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations in Recto, Manila City. As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure the timely and accurate storage, handling, and distribution of our products.This full-time role is integral to the success of our retail business in the Metro Manila region.
What you'll be doing- Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory control, order fulfilment, and staff supervision
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise workflow, maximise storage capacity, and improve productivity
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Manage and train a team of warehouse staff, providing coaching and support to ensure high levels of performance
- Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery of products to our retail stores
- Identify and implement new technologies or processes to enhance warehouse efficiency
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a warehouse management role, preferably within the retail industry
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proficient in inventory management systems and warehouse automation technologies
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
