Senior Dispatcher (US Medical Logistics, WFH)
Work Type: Freelance - Full-Time
You will undergo a 1-month training period under a freelance contract. Upon successfully completing the training, you will be offered a regular full-time position with company benefits.
Monthly Salary: PHP 50,000 - PHP 60,000
Training Schedule (Friday-Sunday):
- Shift Time: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM EST
- Lunch (EST): 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- 3+ years of work experience as a dispatcher in a US setting.
- Work experience in US Logistics industry is a must
- Knowledgeable in TMS, GPS, Google Maps and the likes.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Working with sense of urgency
Must haves:
- US Medical Logistics or just US Logistics industry background experience. (Don't endorse who came from Ride Hailing industries e.g. Uber, etc) (they will not entertain also if the applicant doesn't have US Medical Logistics/Logistics experience)
- Must be amenable to shifting schedules and open to 4 by 3 schedules/ 4 days work and 3 days off (10-12 work hours per day)
- Must be willing to work on weekends. (There are schedules, for example like, Friday - Monday or Thursday - Sunday)
- Should be okay to work during lunch hours (due to the nature of the work, there will be times that they need to accommodate a dispatch due to emergency as they might save lives)
- Should have work experience in dispatching tools
- Should have work experience in GPS and/or able to navigate Google Maps
What will you do?
Driver Management & Coordination- Real-Time Fleet Oversight: Monitor driver locations via GPS/telematics to ensure they are on
- Dynamic Routing: Independently assign "on-the-fly" rush orders to the most efficient driver based
- Driver Support: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding vehicle issues, delivery
- Performance Monitoring: Track driver "dwell times" and ensure they are moving quickly through
each stop to meet same-day windows.
Client Communication & Service- Live Order Tracking: Provide clients with accurate, real-time updates on the status of their high
- Problem Resolution: Proactively notify clients of any potential delays and offer immediate
- Customer Inquiry Handling: Professional handling of incoming calls and emails regarding new
- Professionalism: Maintain a high level of "American-standard" customer service, ensuring clear
and concise English communication.
Logistics Administration & Workflow- Data Entry & Accuracy: Ensure all job details, driver assignments, and timestamps are accurately
- Coverage & Handover: Execute a seamless "shift handover" to the second dispatcher, ensuring all
- Document Management: Monitor and verify the upload of digital signatures, photos, and Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
- Independent Operation: Manage the entire dispatch desk solo during overnight/weekend hours,
issues.
Baltimore Market Specifics (Training Required)- Geography Mastery: Learn and memorize key Baltimore corridors (e.g., I-95, I-695, I-83) and
- Priority Handling: Recognize and prioritize "hot" clients or deliveries that require immediate
attention over standard accounts
