Job Description:At Simplified Marketing, we believe that great content starts with strong writing and a deep understanding of SEO. While AI tools are part of our workflow, human creativity and strategic thinking are key to producing content that resonates with our clients.
This role requires a Marketing Content Writer who is comfortable creating original, accurate, and human-centric content for sectors like manufacturing, engineering and service-based businesses. You’ll need to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, all while delivering content that adds value and stands out in the digital landscape.
Responsibilities:
SEO- Rapid content creation: Produce 2-3 high-quality, SEO-optimized blog posts or landing pages (1000 words each) daily during certain periods of the month, aligning with client guidelines and maintaining brand voice.
- Content must be original and human-centric, avoiding common AI-generated text.
- Accuracy is critical, as many clients have a technical background in industries like manufacturing and engineering, with some service based companies as well.
- Engaging content development: Create compelling social media content tailored to each client's unique brand voice. Focus on delivering value rather than superficial posts.
- Content management: Utilize scheduling platforms like Socialbu or Hootsuite to plan and distribute content.
- Swift copy creation: Develop persuasive ad copy for Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, and other platforms.
- Copy optimization: Refine and improve ad copy based on performance data.
- Update tasks in our project management tool regularly.
- Keep the content calendar and page plan up to date.
- Use Notion for tracking projects (familiarity preferred or similar tool).
- Maintain organization for multiple moving projects.
- College degree.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Proven experience in SEO content creation and copywriting.
- Background and / or ability to do technical writing for manufacturing, engineering, etc.
- Strong writing skills.
- Deep understanding of SEO best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with social media scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite, Social Bu, etc.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Grammarly (or similar editing tool) for clean, polished writing.
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) — daily use
- Familiarity with Notion, Google Workspace, AI tools, etc.
