SEO Specialist (AU Media, WFH)
Salary: P90,000-P110,000 (Salary Package)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (07:00 AM - 04:00 PM PHT)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in SEO, preferably within the news or publishing industry
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Experience with content management systems
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in SEO, Google Analytics, or related areas.
- Experience with Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) strategies and understanding of AI-driven search engines.
- Familiarity with schema markup, structured data, and other advanced SEO techniques.
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic growth.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value search terms relevant to our content and audience
- Perform on-page optimisation, including meta tags, headers, content structure, and internal linking
- Execute technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance, crawlability, and indexation.
- Collaborate with editorial, commercial and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation and website development.
- Monitor and analyse SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs, and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, including developments in GEO, to ensure our strategies remain effective
- Develop and manage link-building campaigns to enhance domain authority and search visibility
- Provide training and support to internal teams on SEO best practices and emerging trends
