Job Overview
We are seeking highly analytical, driven, and intellectually curious professionals to support our equities research and investment decision-making processes. Candidates will specialize based on experience to analyze publicly listed companies, monitor macroeconomic trends, and produce data-driven research reports that deliver clear investment strategies to institutional clients and internal stakeholders.
Research Analyst
Experience Bracket: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment analysis, or corporate finance. Exceptionally strong fresh graduates with a background in competitive financial modeling may be considered.
Core Responsibilities- Fundamental Analysis: Review financial statements, evaluate corporate governance, and assess the competitive industry positioning of listed firms
- Financial Modeling: Build, update, and maintain comprehensive corporate financial models.
- Report Preparation: Draft initiation reports, post-earnings notes, and sector updates under supervision.
- Market Tracking: Maintain internal research databases by tracking corporate actions, earnings schedules, and company disclosures.
- Daily and weekly market commentary updates.
- Earnings previews and post-earnings financial tracking notes.
- Maintenance of active valuation sheets (P/E, EV/EBITDA, and DCF).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas and financial data structures).
- Competency: Clear comprehension of basic accounting principles and valuation methodologies.
Senior Research Analyst
Experience Bracket: Minimum of 3+ years of continuous experience working directly within the stock brokerage or equities research industry.
Core Responsibilities- Coverage Ownership: Lead coverage on complex market sectors (e.g., Conglomerates, Banking, Property) with full autonomy.
- Advanced Valuation: Construct advanced dynamic models using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and asset-based valuations.
- Cross-Analysis: Combine deep fundamental analysis with basic technical analysis for optimal entry/exit stock calls.
- Commercial Support: Formulate target prices and direct "Buy/Sell/Hold" recommendations to guide the institutional sales desk.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the firm at analyst briefings, investor conferences, and high-level corporate presentations.
- Independent generation of institutional-grade Initiation Coverage Reports.
- Actionable stock recommendations and explicit target price updates.
- Immediate, ad-hoc briefing notes regarding sudden market movements or economic changes.
- Technical: Advanced proficiency in institutional financial platforms (such as the Bloomberg Terminal).
- Scope: Proven ability to manage multi-task workflows independently under tight publication deadlines.
- Condition: Willingness to work extended hours during peak corporate earnings seasons to capture overnight disclosures.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required across both levels for clear report publishing.
- Accuracy: High attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, and uncompromising corporate integrity.
