Position: BOOKKEEPER

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Staff, or in a similar finance-related role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with government compliance requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Experience in a family-run or growing business environment is an advantage.

Job Summary:

As the Bookkeeper at LJR Ventures Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s day-to-day accounting functions. Your role ensures compliance with accounting standards and government regulations while providing management with timely and reliable financial information.

This position requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic business environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with government contributions and deductions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Maintain and organize financial documents, invoices, receipts, and records.
  • Support the filing of government remittances and tax returns (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Monitor company expenses and assist in implementing cost controls.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and accountants as needed.
  • Provide financial data to management to support business decisions.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required.
