As a Quality Control Specialist IV within the Wholesale Lending Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of documents related to lending services. You will work collaboratively with various teams to maintain high-quality standards and support audit readiness.Your contributions will be vital in achieving service level agreements and driving process improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality reviews on completed cases to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of quality checks and findings for audit readiness.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
- Research and respond to queries from Business Partners/officers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve SLAs and individual targets.
- Participate in process improvements by suggesting and implementing changes.
- Ensure compliance with guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in loan servicing or a related financial services field.
- Understanding of legal and loan documentation, collateral perfection, compliance documents, and UCC filings.
- Strong client focus and ability to build relationships with internal and external groups.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently.
- Cross-training capability across various functions within the vertical.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality and proven track record of driving results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Windows-based and Microsoft suite applications.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and leverage available resources.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with three years of work experience, preferably in the banking industry.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Documentation experience in the banking industry.
- Experience with loan servicing software and systems, such as ACBS, VLS, LOAN IQ, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to drive decision-making and improve servicing operations.
- Meets or exceeds performance expectations and is not under performance coaching or improvement plans.
