Warehouse Manager - Manila

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall management of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, shipping, and distribution of products. The role ensures the smooth, cost-effective, and efficient functioning of the warehouse while maintaining high levels of safety, organization, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched in an efficient and timely manner.
• Coordinate and monitor the movement of inventory within the warehouse to ensure accurate stock control.
• Plan and manage the layout and organization of the warehouse for efficient space utilization.
• Ensure that all goods are properly labeled, packed, and stored according to company policies and safety standards.

1. Inventory Management:

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss, damage, or theft.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and plan for demand fluctuations.

1. Team Management:

• Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Create work schedules and assign tasks to ensure smooth workflow.

• Foster a positive, productive work environment to encourage teamwork and high levels of performance.

1. Health and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse.
• Implement and maintain safety policies and procedures to prevent workplace accidents.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for warehouse staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to reduce hazards.

1. Shipping and Logistics:

• Coordinate with shipping and transportation partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

• Monitor shipping schedules and resolve any logistical issues or delays.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding shipment statuses.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and implement best practices.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in warehouse management.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirement: Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee our daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related logistics/supply chain role.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and supervise warehouse staff effectively.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written) is required to coordinate with our Chinese-speaking partners and suppliers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
