About the role
CPE Foods Phils. Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining industrial machinery used in our food production processes.As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our production targets are met whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency. This position is integral to our operations, directly contributing to the successful delivery of our products to customers.
Key responsibilities- Operating and monitoring food production machinery in accordance with operational procedures and specifications
- Performing routine checks and maintenance tasks on assigned machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
- Adjusting machine settings and parameters to meet production requirements and quality standards
- Inspecting raw materials and finished products to identify defects or quality issues
- Recording production data, machine performance metrics and any incidents or concerns in logbooks and digital systems
- Adhering strictly to health, safety and environmental regulations within the production facility
- Reporting equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors and maintenance teams promptly
- Cleaning and sanitising machinery and work areas in accordance with company hygiene standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and providing feedback on machine performance and production efficiency
- Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production schedules
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical equipment and machinery
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify and report quality issues and deviations
- Excellent safety awareness and commitment to following all safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, meeting production quotas and deadlines
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items and operate machinery in a fast-paced production setting
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to new equipment and processes
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for recording production data and following written instructions
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
- Preferred: Experience with food processing or similar regulated manufacturing environments
- Preferred: Familiarity with computerised monitoring systems and digital production logs
