Crane/ Forklift Mechanic

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repair of cranes, forklifts, and other company equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and ensure all units are in good working condition.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems.
Maintain service and maintenance records of equipment.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during repair and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with operators and supervisors regarding equipment concerns and maintenance schedules.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacement when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the workshop and tools.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Vocational course or technical training in Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
With proven experience as a mechanic for cranes, forklifts, or heavy equipment.
Knowledgeable in diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and repair diagrams.
Willing to work on-site and during extended hours if needed.
Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
TESDA certification is an advantage but not required
