Overview:MHG is seeking a Neurosurgeon to provide expert consultations and remote advice on neurosurgical cases. This position is ideal for a highly experienced neurosurgeon interested in leveraging their expertise through telemedicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer virtual consultations for neurosurgical cases, including pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.
- Provide expert opinions on the need for surgical interventions for conditions such as brain tumors, spinal disorders, and traumatic brain injuries.
- Review and interpret diagnostic imaging, including MRIs and CT scans.
- Collaborate with on-site surgeons and medical teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Provide guidance during emergency situations that may require immediate neurosurgical intervention.
- Maintain detailed and secure patient records.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree with specialization in Neurosurgery.
- Valid medical license and board certification in Neurosurgery.
- Extensive experience in neurosurgery, with telemedicine experience being a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and electronic health systems.
