Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve business growth and revenue targets. This role oversees sales operations, develops and implements strategic sales plans, optimizes processes, and ensures strong customer relationships.

The Sales Manager is expected to drive team performance, identify market opportunities, and execute effective sales strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans, programs, and initiatives to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry developments to support business decisions.
  • Forecast sales, prepare annual sales targets and quotas, and monitor progress against established goals.
  • Develop and execute action plans to maximize sales performance and profitability.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers and business partners.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to ensure the productivity and development of the sales team.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient sales operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and business updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and sales standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and sales reporting tools.
  • Willing to travel as required for business needs.
