Technical Service Engineer – Projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Civil)
• Licensed Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Civil Engineer
• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Technical Service Engineer, preferably in the oil/gas industry
• Experience in project and contractor management
• Knowledgeable in LPG system components (e.g., LPG tanks, piping, regulators, vaporizers, valves, etc.)
• Familiar with relevant codes and standards such as NFPA 58 and the Fire Code of the Philippines
• BOSH and COSH safety training certifications
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D drafting
• Valid driver’s license with restriction codes B, B1 & B2
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Willing to travel to various client/project sites as needed

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site inspections and verifications to gather data necessary for the design of LPG systems.
• Design LPG installation and piping systems for potential customers in compliance with applicable safety standards (e.g., NFPA 58, Fire Code of the Philippines, and other local regulations).
• Prepare cost estimates, develop the scope of work, and LPG piping layout based on customer requirements and safety standards; secure approval from the Line Manager.
• Provide approved cost estimates to the assigned Key Account Manager (KAM) or Key Account Specialist (KAS) for financial analysis.
• Coordinate with the Materials Services and Procurement Group (MSPG) and facilitate tendering for project implementation.
• Ensure timely, cost-effective implementation of projects.
• Supervise and coordinate construction and on-site LPG installation activities, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards.
• Optimize the use of LPG assets and resources during project implementation.
• Review and verify the completeness of all contractor-submitted documents required for payment processing.
• Conduct performance evaluations of project contractors.
• Provide technical support to PLPI dealers, operations, and the sales team.
• Assist the Technical Services Manager (TSM) in the planning, preparation, and control of annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
• Submit monthly project progress reports to the TSM.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Services Manager.
