QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy/other Finance-related courses
- At least 1-3 years of experience in treasury, investment, or finance-related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver results on time under pressure. Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The treasury assistant will support the treasury and finance team in managing the organization’s cash flow, banking relationships, and financial transactions. This role requires strong attention to details, organizational skills, and a good understanding of financial processes and controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Assist in daily cash management and monitoring of bank balances and cash positions.
> Support the preparation of treasury reports and investment performance summaries.
> Monitor and record investment transactions and portfolio activity.
> Prepare and process payments, including wires, ACH and intercompany transfers.
> Maintain accurate records of bank accounts, signatories and investment documents.
> Support short-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
> Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes.
> Liaise with banks and internal departments regarding transaction inquiries and documentation.
> Assist in internal and external audit processes related to treasury and investments.
