As a Preventive Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's facilities by conducting regular maintenance and inspections.This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
What you'll be doing- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and machinery
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them before they become problems
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless coordination and communication
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to protect both the equipment and personnel
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Preventive Maintenance Technician or similar role in the Trades & Services industry
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail in all work performed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our client operations
