Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer; however, non-license holders with substantial relevant experience may be considered
- With at least four (4) to five (5) years of relevant work experience in quarry operations, crushing plants, or mining-related industries
- Demonstrated knowledge in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of crushing plant equipment, including crushers, conveyors, screening systems, and other heavy mechanical components
- Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance systems and procedures
- Knowledgeable in applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations governing quarry and mining operations
- Proficient in interpreting mechanical plans, drawings, and technical specifications
- With strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications and preparation of technical reports
- Must be willing to be assigned at the Head Office located at A. Bonifacio, Quezon City, with regular fieldwork in various project or plant sites
- Responsible for the overall management and supervision of all mechanical aspects of quarry and crushing plant operations
- Ensure the efficient, safe, and continuous operation of all plant machinery and mechanical systems
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions
- Conduct regular inspection, assessment, and performance evaluation of mechanical equipment and facilities.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement appropriate corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate closely with Operations and other concerned departments to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with production targets.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure work is performed in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.
- Prepare and submit periodic technical reports, maintenance records, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, safety standards, and all applicable government rules and regulations.
- Assist in the planning, evaluation, installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and plant upgrades.
- Recommend and implement cost-efficient measures in maintenance and equipment utilization without compromising safety and operational integrity.
