Job description:

As an Audit Officer for our food retail chain, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and transparency of our financial records, as well as ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with various departments to assess operational efficiency and effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular and thorough audits of financial transactions, inventory management, and operational processes within our food retail outlets.
  • Verify the accuracy of financial documents, including invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Assess compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and internal control weaknesses; recommend practical solutions to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Participate in discussions with management to communicate audit results and offer insights for enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, audit methodologies, and regulatory changes to ensure best-in-class audit practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in auditing, preferably within the food retail or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant) are a plus.
  • Deployment: Casa Anselmo, Paseo del Congreso, Brgy. San Agustin, City of Malolos, Bulacan

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
