We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our General Accounting team and make a real impact on our financial operations! This full-time role is based in Pasay City, Metro Manila, where you’ll have the opportunity to shape the financial future of a leading company in the health, beauty, and personal care industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Take the lead in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) to ensure accurate reporting.
- Play a key role in the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
- Support the development of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to drive better business decision-making.
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to gather and validate financial data.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations, keeping everything on track and in line with industry requirements.
- Get involved in exciting special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed!
What We’re Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle etc., and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
