ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for ensuring the company receives payment for services provided to clients. Duties include preparing and posting customer payments, managing invoices and customer records, and handling delinquent accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions.
• Create and submit invoices according to company procedures.
• Maintain and update customer files (e.g., name/address changes, mergers).
• Draft correspondence for past-due accounts; contact delinquent customers.
• Create reports on the current status of accounts receivable.
• Research discrepancies and coordinate with the Marketing Head and other staff.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Head to reconcile accounts (at least bimonthly).
• Assist in generating monthly billing statements.
• Help the Accounting Head reconcile revenue accounts monthly.
• File and retrieve documents related to accounts receivable.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related course.
• Preferably with experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
