About Pine Interactive

Pine Interactive is a fast-growing membership and loyalty platform business. We're building out a lean, high-caliber finance function to support acquisitions, capital markets readiness, and strategic decision-making at the founder level.

The Role

We're looking for a sharp, highly diligent Corporate/Financial Analyst to sit close to leadership and act as a force-multiplier across M&A due diligence, financial modeling, and corporate finance strategy. This is not a back-office reporting role — you'll be in the room for acquisition evaluations, building the models that inform go/no-go decisions, and helping build out the financial infrastructure a scaling business needs as it matures.

This role suits someone who wants outsized responsibility early, is comfortable moving at founder speed, and takes real pride in getting the numbers exactly right.

What You'll Do

M&A & Due Diligence
  • Lead financial due diligence on acquisition targets — quality of earnings, working capital analysis, revenue quality, customer concentration, and liability identification
  • Build acquisition models: purchase price allocation, accretion/dilution, synergy quantification, and post-close integration cost modeling
  • Identify and flag deal risks and discrepancies in target financials
  • Coordinate with external counsel, accountants, and advisors during diligence sprints
Financial Modeling & Analysis
  • Build and maintain 3-statement models, cash flow forecasts, and scenario/sensitivity analyses
  • Support cap table and dilution modeling across funding rounds
  • Develop unit economics and cohort-level analysis (LTV/CAC, churn, retention) for the loyalty/membership business model
  • Prepare board-ready materials and investor communications
Corporate Finance & Governance
  • Help build financial infrastructure, controls, and reporting cadence appropriate for a scaling, increasingly institutional business
  • Support preparation of financial narratives, KPI frameworks, and disclosure-grade documentation
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, and legal counsel on corporate transactions as needed
What You Bring
  • 3–6+ years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory (Big 4/TS), or a high-growth startup finance/FP&A seat with real modeling reps
  • Demonstrated financial modeling experience — you can build a model from a blank sheet, not just edit one
  • Actual due diligence experience on live deals (buy-side or sell-side); comfortable in a data room
  • Meticulous attention to detail — this role has zero tolerance for numbers that don't tie out
  • Experience with corporate transactions is strongly favored — M&A, capital raises, restructurings, or public listing processes (S-1/IPO, direct listing, or equivalent international equivalents)
  • Strong Excel/financial modeling fluency; PowerPoint for board/investor materials
  • Ability to work directly with founders/executives with minimal hand-holding, and to push back with data when something doesn't add up
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus but not required — we care more about deal reps and modeling rigor than credentials alone
What Would Make You Stand Out
  • Prior exposure to subscription/membership, sweepstakes, or loyalty business models
  • Direct experience supporting a public listing process (S-1 drafting, auditor coordination, banker workstreams) — this is a strong plus but not disclosed as a current initiative
  • Experience evaluating distressed or off-market acquisition targets
  • Comfort operating without a large finance team around you — this is a build-it-yourself environment
Why Join
  • Direct line to founder/leadership — your work will materially shape acquisition decisions and long-term capital strategy
  • Ground-floor opportunity to help build out a scaling finance function
  • High-ownership, high-trust environment for someone who wants to move fast and be judged on output
