Delivery Helper

JOB SUMMARY:

A Delivery Helper assists drivers with loading, transporting, and delivering goods to customers safely and efficiently. This role ensures timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service and maintaining proper handling of items.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
• Ensure items are handled carefully to prevent damage
• Help navigate delivery routes and confirm delivery locations
• Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
• Follow safety procedures and company policies during deliveries
• Report any delivery issues, damages, or delays to the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift heavy items (typically 50 lbs or more)
• Good physical stamina and strength
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of routes and navigation tools (GPS/maps)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
• Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, or logistics roles
• Customer service experience
