Job Summary:
A Cabinetry Project Consultant is responsible for assisting clients in designing, selecting, and implementing cabinetry solutions for residential or commercial spaces. They provide expert guidance on materials, styles, finishes, and layout designs while ensuring that projects meet aesthetic, functional, and budgetary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and budget for cabinetry projects.Project Design & Planning: Develop and present cabinetry design proposals, including 3D renderings, sketches, and material samples.
Product Knowledge: Advise clients on available cabinetry materials, hardware, finishes, and custom design options.
Sales & Quoting: Provide pricing estimates, negotiate contracts, and finalize project details with clients.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, designers, and installers to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Site Visits & Measurements: Conduct on-site inspections to take accurate measurements and confirm design feasibility.
Customer Service: Address client inquiries, concerns, and modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all cabinetry installations adhere to industry standards, building codes, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in cabinetry, interior design, construction, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of cabinetry materials, finishes, and installation processes.
Proficiency in design software
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with a keen sense of design aesthetics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in cabinetry design, sales, or project management.
Prior experience working with contractors, designers, or kitchen and bath remodeling projects is a plus.
