Accounting Clerk

About the role

As an Accounting Clerk at Sanford Marketing Corporation (Savemore Market), you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of this leading retail organisation. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this full-time position is based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, with opportunities for career development and growth within the company.

• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis
• Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
• Maintaining detailed records and filing systems for financial data
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Providing administrative support to the Accounting team as required

• Graduate of Accountancy or any related course
• Fresh graduates are welcome
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• A keen interest in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related field would be highly desirable
