Local Purchasing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the local buying team;
• Review and monitor supplier performance;
• Work with the team to grow sales and expand the selection of items offered;
• Work with the marketing team to promote the local categories via events, posts etc;
• Work closely with warehouse, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on inventory and deliveru

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
• Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role;
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills;
• Knowledge of local market trends, pricing, and supplier networks;
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Strong ethical and decision-making skills
