What you'll be doing
- Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and restocking supplies
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a spotless environment
- Collect and dispose of trash and linens, ensuring proper handling and disposal procedures
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Respond promptly to special requests from guests and assist with any housekeeping needs
- Maintain a high level of organisation and efficiency in the performance of daily tasks
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Previous experience in a Housekeeping or Room Attendant role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills to address guest needs promptly and effectively
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
- Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and products
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests
