Bookkeeper (AU Background preferred)

Office-Based: Sto. Domingo, Angeles City

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with Australian (AU) accounting background to join our team in an office-based setup. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing financial records for Australian clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as bank reconciliations and general ledger management
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Prepare and process invoices, payroll, and expense reports
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations, including BAS (Business Activity Statements) preparation and lodgment
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Generate financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Work with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
  • Coordinate with accountants and external auditors as needed
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience with Australian clients
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax requirements (GST, BAS, etc.)
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero/MYOB
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willing to work office-based (onsite) setup
  • Available to start ASAP
