Bookkeeper (AU Background preferred)
Office-Based: Sto. Domingo, Angeles City
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with Australian (AU) accounting background to join our team in an office-based setup. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing financial records for Australian clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as bank reconciliations and general ledger management
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, payroll, and expense reports
- Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations, including BAS (Business Activity Statements) preparation and lodgment
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Generate financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Work with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
- Coordinate with accountants and external auditors as needed
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience with Australian clients
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax requirements (GST, BAS, etc.)
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero/MYOB
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willing to work office-based (onsite) setup
- Available to start ASAP
