Senior Tax Analyst (Europe)

Prepare and review tax returns to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Assist in tax planning and provide advisory support to optimize tax strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation for tax filings.
- Monitor tax law changes and assess their impact on the organization.
- Handle tax audits and inquiries from regulatory authorities.
- Reconcile tax accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Generate and present tax-related reports for management review.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in tax operations.

A successful Senior Tax Analyst should have:
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred
- 3-5 years' experience in VAT or indirect tax
- Strong accounting and tax fundamentals
- SAP experience preferred
- Experience being in a Shared service
- Experience with multinational stakeholders
- European tax exposure (Germany is an advantage)
- SME role in a global renewable energy company
- Exposure to complex European tax environments
