Purchasing Officer

Roof Manila, a bar and restaurant in Manila, is on the lookout for a full-time Purchasing Officer!

Position Summary:

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing purchasing processes from request to liquidation? We’re looking for a Purchasing Officer who will handle sourcing, procurement, and budget coordination for Roof Manila’s daily operations—ensuring all purchases are properly documented, cost-efficient, and aligned with approved budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Source, procure, and purchase operational requirements for Roof Manila (e.g., food ingredients)
• Prepare and process purchase requests and coordinate budget approvals with the Finance department
• Ensure all purchases are within approved budgets and aligned with operational needs
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
• Monitor and track all purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier transactions
• Conduct canvassing to ensure competitive pricing and cost efficiency
• Maintain organized records of all purchases, receipts, and supporting documents
• Handle liquidation of all purchases, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation
• Submit liquidation reports and supporting documents to the Finance department in a timely manner
• Ensure proper coordination with operations team for stock levels, urgent requirements, and replenishment needs
• Assist in improving purchasing systems, supplier sourcing, and cost control measures

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any Business, Finance, or related course
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Good negotiation and supplier coordination skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple requests and deadlines
• Trustworthy and accountable, especially in handling company funds and transactions
