Internal Audit Head

As the Internal Audit Head, you will:

• Develop and maintain the internal audit charter, policies, procedures, and audit infrastructure.
• Design and execute the annual audit plan based on risk assessments and strategic priorities.
• Lead and manage internal audit teams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with IIA standards.
• Conduct audits across operations, finance, IT, HR, and credit units, including surprise and ad-hoc audits.
• Provide internal consultancy on risk management and internal controls.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Report audit findings and recommendations to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.

A successful Internal Audit Head should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar certifications preferred.
• Extensive experience in auditing financial institutions or banks, with strong knowledge of risk-based auditing.
• Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Access) and audit automation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for field audits.
• Ability to work independently, manage conflict, and maintain objectivity.
