About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Accounting Staff to join our internal team in Cebu City. The ideal candidate will have experience in both accounting and administrative functions, with the ability to support daily financial operations while assisting with general office and documentation requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who can work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Functions
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
  • Prepare invoices, payment requests, and expense reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end activities.
  • Support payroll and financial reporting requirements as needed.
  • Maintain organized financial files and documentation.
Administrative Support
  • Manage and organize company records, contracts, and internal documents.
  • Assist with data entry, report preparation, and document tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding administrative and accounting requirements.
  • Support management with administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Ensure proper filing and maintenance of confidential records.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Assist in preparing and processing contracts, agreements, and related documentation.
  • Monitor document completion and approval workflows.
  • Ensure records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or administrative support roles.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to work onsite in Cebu City on a mid-shift schedule.
Preferred
  • Experience handling both accounting and administrative responsibilities.
  • Experience using DocuSign or similar document management and e-signature platforms.
  • Experience working in a BPO, outsourcing, or corporate office environment.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
