Purchasing Staff Reliever

Is currently looking for:

PURCHASING STAFF RELIEVER

1. Ensures the smooth transition of request/s from approval to issuance of materials.
2. Produces and maintains transmittal reports & other purchasing related records.
3. Sources items and credible suppliers (local or imported) to any requirements.
4. Secures, evaluates and negotiates quotations with suppliers on new items and ensures cost efficiency, best terms, and availability.
5. Seeks approval of the Purchasing Manager for purchase order.
6. Prepares payment requests corresponding to purchase when necessary.
7. Forwards approved purchase order to corresponding suppliers. Confirms receipt and acknowledgment of receipt.
8. Coordinates with supplier for issues and concerns regarding purchase.
9. Processes incoming purchases for inventory control and payment.
10. Develops good rapport with supplier for smooth business dealings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
2. At least 1 year of previous work experience as Purchasing Staff or related position
3. Proficiency in the relevant management software programs
4. Good communication and negotiation skills
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy and systems.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts
8. Accurate, organized and keen to details.
9. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and excel)
10. Able to make decisions on a fast-paced environment
11. Fresh graduates are welcome but must be willing to learn and highly trainable.
