As an Supervisor Client Accountant – Client Accounting, you will:
As part of a newly formed team of 10 client accountants with planned ongoing growth, servicing financial services vehicles in the U.S., Cayman Islands, Ireland, Singapore and other offshore jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and rigorously audit monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual management accounts.
- GAAP & IFRS Expertise: Produce and quality check annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, Irish, or UK GAAP.
- Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and meticulously review monthly/quarterly/annual regulatory reporting and filings.
- Deadline Management: Provide timely and accurate status updates to ensure all deadlines are consistently met.
- Data Integrity: Maintain proprietary systems with accurate and up-to-date data.
- Stakeholder Communication: Respond to internal stakeholder queries promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Relationship Management: Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and relevant parties.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal risk management requirements, including policies and procedures.
- Issue Escalation: Escalate business issues to relevant management personnel as needed.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with reporting and other ad-hoc projects as required.
- Degree Holder in Accounting or Finance
- At least 3 years of professional work experience
- Previous financial services, investment industry or accounting experience
- Good Excel skills such as SumIfs, Vlookup and Pivot Tables, experience in Power Query is a plus
- Professional accounting designation. Big 4 accounting firm experience strongly preferred
