About the role

ACT Machineries and Metalcraft Corp' is seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our team in Cauayan City, Isabela. As an Accounting Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and accounting processes.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Reconciling bank statements and ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions
Assisting with the preparation of regulatory filings and tax returns
Providing financial data and insights to support business decision-making
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting and control processes
Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

Must be a CPA
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably in the manufacturing or metalcraft industry
Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records
Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
A commitment to staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
