PROJECT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT MANAGER
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee and direct all construction projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project budgets, timelines, and schedules.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
- Prepare and review project reports and status updates for management.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, including supervisors, foremen, and workers.
- Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and support.
- Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
Construction Operations:
- Oversee all construction activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage construction inventory and equipment.
Quality Control and Assurance:
- Maintain high quality standards throughout all construction projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage project risks throughout the construction process.
Client Relations:
- Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Preferably a licensed Civil Engineer;
- At least 5 years of experience in project and construction management, preferably in the engineering and construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects successfully.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and construction project management software.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Proficient in project management tools and software;
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, surveying, and project costing;
- Ability to plan, execute, and oversee telecom construction projects from initiation to completion;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Willingness to travel to project sites anywhere in Cebu
- Preferably with BOSH/COSH training;
- With driving skills and must possess an updated driver's license
- Extensive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects.
Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in construction software and tools.
