PROJECT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Oversee and direct all construction projects from conception to completion.
• Develop project budgets, timelines, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
• Prepare and review project reports and status updates for management.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.

Team Leadership and Management:

• Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, including supervisors, foremen, and workers.
• Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and support.
• Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.

Construction Operations:

• Oversee all construction activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Manage construction inventory and equipment.

Quality Control and Assurance:

• Maintain high quality standards throughout all construction projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and manage project risks throughout the construction process.

Client Relations:

• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Preferably a licensed Civil Engineer;
• At least 5 years of experience in project and construction management, preferably in the engineering and construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects successfully.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and construction project management software.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Proficient in project management tools and software;
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, surveying, and project costing;
• Ability to plan, execute, and oversee telecom construction projects from initiation to completion;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Willingness to travel to project sites anywhere in Cebu
• Preferably with BOSH/COSH training;
• With driving skills and must possess an updated driver's license
• Extensive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects.

Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in construction software and tools.
