Technical and Logistics Specialist ( CRM/POS proficiency)

Role Summary:
The Technical and Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of goods and information across supply chain operations, while also ensuring seamless technical support and optimization of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) or POS (Point of Sale) systems.This hybrid role bridges logistics coordination with systems administration to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics & Operations Management
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, inventory movement, and warehousing.
- Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and optimize supply chain workflows.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot CRM or POS systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, Square, Lightspeed).
- Train team members on CRM/POS system functionality and updates.
- Liaise with IT vendors or internal developers to resolve technical issues or customize features.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Ensure data integrity across logistics and CRM/POS platforms.
- Generate regular reports on stock levels, sales transactions, and customer interactions.
- Analyze trends to support forecasting and decision-making.
- Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify bottlenecks in logistics or system workflows and suggest solutions.
- Support integration between CRM/POS tools and ERP systems or inventory software.
- Recommend technology upgrades or automation to improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of logistics/supply chain operations.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and/or POS systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, or inventory/tracking software.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, technical support, or operations.
- Familiarity with CRM/POS tools like Salesforce, Zoho, Shopify POS, or Toast.
- Background in retail, ecommerce, distribution, or warehousing is a plus.
- Technical certifications or logistics training (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, APICS).
