About the role
ABest Express Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee to join our retail operations team in Binan City, Laguna. This is a full-time position designed to develop future leaders within our organisation. As a Management Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in store management, operations, and customer service excellence, preparing you for a supervisory or management role within our growing retail network.This position offers the ideal foundation for ambitious individuals looking to build a rewarding career in retail management.
What you'll be doing- Assisting with daily store operations including opening and closing procedures
- Supporting the store manager in inventory management and stock rotation activities
- Training and mentoring junior staff members on company policies, procedures and customer service standards
- Monitoring point-of-sale systems and ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation
- Assisting with visual merchandising displays and maintaining store presentation standards
- Conducting floor walks to ensure customer service excellence and product availability
- Supporting the implementation of promotional campaigns and special events
- Analysing store performance metrics and identifying areas for operational improvement
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues professionally and efficiently
- Participating in ongoing training programmes to develop management competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Commerce or related field
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working with diverse teams
- Customer service excellence with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding experiences
- Leadership potential and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in using retail management systems and point-of-sale technology
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing and walking for extended periods
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- Previous retail, hospitality or customer service experience is preferred
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and sales analytics is advantageous
