Systems analyst

Job Description

• Leads business requirements analysis and identifies areas for process improvement and system optimization
• Writes clear, comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Manages and oversees complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery
• Leads the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process: plan test cycles, prepare test cases/scripts, execute and coordinate UAT with business users
• Collaborates with stakeholders, developers, and analysts to deliver effective solutions
• Reviews and prepares project documentation, test scripts, and UAT plans
• Guides and mentors junior analysts to ensure best practices are followed
• Supports testing and implementation of new system features and enhancements

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the following areas: Systems Analysis, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Business Process Design, and Quality Assurance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex systems and business requirements
• Proven experience in leading projects or mentoring junior analysts
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams
• Exceptional documentation and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other business tools
• High attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
