The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safe and efficient operations. The role supports uninterrupted facility and equipment functionality while strictly adhering to electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Bottom line: keep the power running, keep people safe, keep downtime low.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, circuits, and equipmentPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing devices
Ensure compliance with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and safety regulations
Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency repairs
Read and interpret electrical plans, diagrams, and technical drawings
Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards or potential failures
Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
Ensure proper use of tools, PPE, and safety procedures at all times
Perform other related tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications
Vocational Diploma / Technical Course in Electrical Technology or equivalentTESDA NC II (Electrical Installation and Maintenance) – required
At least 1–3 years of experience as an Electrician (industrial or commercial preferred)
Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels, and basic automation
Familiarity with safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments
