Lineman Supervisor

Experienced as a journeyman lineman with strong leadership skills, and knowledge of electrical systems.
- Holding advanced certifications like Certified Journeyman Lineman or Graduate Electrical Engineer is preferred.
- Must have 6 to 10 years experience as Lineman Supervisor
- Must be able to oversee application and interpretation of National Electric Code and other applicable codes and standards
- Must ensure standards of work quality, first time fix, continuous improvement of linemen.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and implementing process improvements.
- Experience in managing large-scale utility projects
- Problem-solving skills to quickly and accurately identify and fix issues in the electrical line system.
- Drive Safety in everything the team must do.
- Lead Daily Safety Tailgate meetings with team
- Supervise Medium Voltage and High Voltage Electrical Team
- Develop detailed switching plans
- Coordinate electrical work with affected operation teams
- Communicate all activities with Operations Shift Team Leader
- Completion of first-aid and CPR courses can be beneficial for this role due to the safety risks associated with working with high-voltage electricity and the heights at which linemen work
- Respond to power outages
- Additional proficiency in a foreign language for enhanced communication.
