About the role
Jeremiah 29 11 Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strategic decision-making.This full-time position will be based in our San Juan City, Metro Manila office.
What you'll be doing- Manage the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and month-end/year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and other key financial reports to support the management team's strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal control policies
- Oversee the work of the accounting team, providing guidance, training and performance management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to enhance financial reporting and support business objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting management role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
- Minimum 3+ years of team management experience is required
- Proficient in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage, develop and motivate an accounting team
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
