The role
As a Product Owner at Ascendion, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and delivery of innovative digital products that transform how our clients do business. In this full-time position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritise product requirements, continuously gather customer insights, and ensure the successful implementation of product roadmaps.
Key responsibilities- Act as the voice of the customer, translating business and user needs into actionable requirements for the development team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with the overall organisational objectives
- Manage the product backlog, prioritising features and epics based on customer value and business impact
- Work alongside the development team to ensure efficient delivery of product increments, addressing any impediments or risks
- Gather and analyse customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product enhancements
- Communicate the product's progress, value, and roadmap to stakeholders, championing the product's success
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's product management processes and best practices
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar product management role, preferably in the information and communication technology industry
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and their application in product development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse user feedback, market insights, and metrics to inform product decisions
- Proficiency in product management tools and techniques, such as user story mapping, MoSCoW prioritisation, and roadmap planning
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a keen eye for detail
- Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
