Job Summary

The Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. This role focuses on financial statement analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze financial statements to assess business performance.
  • Prepare financial reports with variance analysis and key insights.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support management decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance explanations and recommendations.
Financial Modeling & Business Case Development
  • Develop and maintain financial models for business planning, investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and ROI evaluation.
  • Support feasibility studies and project evaluations.
Performance Analytics & Insights
  • Track and analyze key financial and operational KPIs.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Support performance reviews and management reporting.
Compliance & Data Integrity
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
  • Support audit requirements and ensure adherence to company policies and financial controls.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
  • Strong experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in manufacturing, real estate, Power, or shared services environment.
  • Exposure to business case evaluation and investment analysis.
