Software Developer I - Work from Home
Nanoninth, OPC (NNI) is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer with a can-do attitude and a knack for problem-solving to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Research, design, implement, and manage software programs
- Test and evaluate new programs
- Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- Write and implement efficient code
- Determine operational practicality
- Develop quality assurance procedures
- Deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
- Maintain and upgrade existing systems
- Stay updated with the latest news on software programming and development, and proactively suggest new solutions to improve the team's efficiency and productivity
- Create technical documentation and training materials to support the implementation and use of software programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience as a Software Developer
- Place of residence must be within Metro Manila or nearby provinces
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
- Knowledgeable in MYSQL as relational database management system, OOP programming concept, & MVC Pattern
- Knowledge in 3 basic components of web development (HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT)
- Knowledgeable of Python or anything related i.e Flask
- Basic understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, web APIs, and REST principles
- Familiar with OCR extensions and plugins
- Familiar with configuring web hosting for managing server
- Knowledge in emerging AI tools, machine learning, database management systems, and cloud-based database solutions is a plus
