About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Analyst with experience in the Australian mortgage industry to support our lending operations from conditional approval to settlement.

In this role, you’ll work closely with brokers, borrowers, and internal teams to review documentation, follow up on requirements, verify employment and income, and help coordinate valuations and third-party checks. You’ll play a key role in ensuring applications are accurate, compliant, and processed smoothly—making a real impact in delivering a seamless home loan experience.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Review and validate loan documents such as conditional approvals, valuation reports, and title searches to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow up with brokers and borrowers on outstanding requirements and resolve any documentation issues or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate third-party processes, including mortgage insurance, employment verifications, and property valuations.
  • Maintain accurate records in loan systems and manage communications through shared inboxes and task queues.
  • Support timely approvals and settlements by assisting credit analysts and underwriters with reworks, compliance checks, and ad hoc tasks.

?️ About You:

  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage processing, loan coordination, or credit support—ideally within the Australian mortgage industry.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end loan process, including credit policies, documentation requirements, and compliance regulations like the Privacy Act.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently liaise with brokers, borrowers, and internal teams.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy and self-motivated, comfortable using loan processing systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to work independently.
