DELIVERY HELPER

JOB SUMMARY

The Delivery Helper supports the delivery operations by assisting the driver in loading, unloading, organizing, and handling bakery and restaurant products during transportation. This role ensures that products are delivered accurately, safely, and in good condition to customers or branch locations, while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assists in the careful and proper loading of products onto the delivery vehicle based on delivery schedules.
2. Unloads goods at customer or branch locations, ensuring items are intact and accounted for.
3. Handles fragile or perishable products with care to avoid damage or spoilage.

1. Verifies delivery items against invoices or dispatch documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
2. Assists in navigating delivery routes and ensuring on-time deliveries.
3. Delivers products directly to clients or designated drop-off areas as instructed.

Customer Service:

1. Interact with customers politely and professionally when assisting with deliveries.
2. Address basic inquiries and relay any customer concerns to the driver or supervisor feedback

1. Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the delivery vehicle.
2. Follow safety and hygiene standards during handling and delivery of food items.
3. Assist in organizing delivery items in the warehouse or staging area when needed

1. Return and account for delivery equipment (e.g., crates, boxes, trolleys) after each trip.
2. Report delivery issues, delays, or product discrepancies to the driver or supervisor.
3. Perform other logistics-related duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. At least high school graduate.
2. Preferably with experience in delivery or warehouse assistance (experience in food delivery is an advantage).
3. Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy loads.
4. Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
5. Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
