Laboratory Analyst

Job Summary:

Cebu Agua Lab Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and science-driven Laboratory Analyst to join our water quality testing laboratory. This role involves conducting laboratory analyses, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and helping safeguard public health through accurate water testing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct physico-chemical testing of water samples (e.g., pH, turbidity, TDS, etc.)
• Prepare and standardize chemical reagents
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., spectrophotometer, AAS)
• Record and interpret data; generate reports based on results
• Follow proper documentation procedures (logbooks, calibration records)
• Support implementation of QA/QC protocols and GLP
• Ensure compliance with DOH and RA 10657 requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
• Licensed Chemical Technician or Licensed Chemist (required)
• Knowledge of wet chemistry techniques
• Familiarity with lab instruments and Standard Methods
• Strong documentation and data-handling skills
• Understanding of QA/QC procedures and safety protocols

Preferred:

• Experience in a DOH-accredited laboratory
• Training in GLP, occupational safety, or environmental regulations (e.g., PCO duties)
• Proficiency in MS Excel or LIMS software
