About the Role:

Your work will support the estimating team in preparing precise project cost assessments.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed takeoffs by counting electrical components from plans and specifications.
• Measure and calculate distances for cable runs and conduit layouts.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all takeoff data in estimation software.
• Assist the estimating team with bid preparation and material cost assessments.
• Review drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify technical details.
• Stay updated on industry standards, electrical codes, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in electrical estimating, takeoffs, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical components, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in takeoff software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Accubid) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
