Position Summary:
The Treasury Supervisor supports the Treasury Manager in overseeing daily treasury operations, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and optimizing cash management. This role is responsible for cash flow reporting, liquidity management, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.The position also involves supervising team members, addressing interdepartmental concerns, and fostering collaboration across teams to support strategic financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and reconcile daily cash balances, bank deposits, and payments.
Ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and optimize cash utilization while maintaining accurate bank records.
Prepare and analyze cash flow reports and other treasury-related reports for management.
Supervise and mentor team members, coordinate activities, and ensure balanced workload distribution.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to interdepartmental issues.
Evaluate treasury systems and processes for efficiency; implement enhancements to streamline operations and strengthen controls.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve overall financial management.
Oversee daily treasury operations including cash positioning, liquidity management, banking transactions, and short-term investments.
Lead month-end and year-end treasury close processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations and timely reporting.
Manage payment processing for foreign transactions and ensure compliance with banking requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (e.g., Business Administration).- 5 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, or financial management roles.
Proven experience supervising or leading a team, with strong mentoring and development skills.
Proficient in Excel and SAP; familiarity with treasury systems is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and optimize treasury operations.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to present financial information effectively.
High level of integrity, sound judgment, and decision-making abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, delegate responsibilities, and foster collaboration.
Ability to address interdepartmental concerns and provide effective solutions.
Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and willing to work onsite full-time in Banawe, Quezon City.
