Responsible for the actual handling of birds starting from hanging of birds up to bagging of dressed chicken. Hangs birds on the overhead conveyor. Kills stunned birds using sharp stainless-steel knife. Picks retained feathers. Re-hangs the birds on the evisceration conveyor line.Performs various eviscerating steps such as: Neck-slitting; vent opening; liver, heart, gizzard, intestine, crop and lung removal; gizzard peeling and cleaning; by-product chilling and packing; etc. Performs dripline and chilling tasks: Icing and chlorination of chilling tanks for dressed chicken; unloading of carcass from crates.
Performs various packing procedures: individual weighing of birds; bagging of fresh dressed chicken, selection of carcass; cutting of neck of DC intended for HRI (VAO); packing of carcass according to classification; placing packed carcass onto trays and trolleys; assist in blast freezing of DC.
Performs reprocessing procedures of left-over and stock returns. Practices personal hygiene and sanitation based on GMP standards. Performs other duties as may be required.
Qualifications/Requirements- Atleast Elementary, Highschool or Senior Highschool.
