Civil Engineer (with Relevant Australian Experience) | WFH | AU

About the Role:

You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating civil design plans, specifications, and documentation for infrastructure and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation in compliance with Australian Standards (AS).
• Ensure all designs adhere to all Australian standards as required by the project and other relevant codes on top of the required minimum.
• Apply general principles of technical drawings, including
• Correct use of linework, dimensions, symbols, and scales
• Clear and consistent annotation
• Layout of site plans, cross-sections, profiles, and detail drawings
• Compliance with drawing registers and revision protocols
• Collaborate with Australian-based clients, surveyors, and engineers on project coordination and document control.
• Participated in quality assurance reviews for drawings and project deliverables.
• Provide civil engineering input for roadworks, drainage, earthworks, site grading, and utility services design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC Licensed)
• Proven work experience on Australian civil infrastructure or land development projects (Required)
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, including:
• AS1100 – Technical Drawing
• AS/NZS 3500—Plumbing and Drainage
• Relevant AS/NZS codes for roads, earthworks, stormwater, and site development
• Proficient in civil drafting and modeling software (e.g., 12D, AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and manage deadlines
